Somerset Pre-Kindergarten Schedule

Our Pre-Kindergarten program builds upon the foundation of our Preschool program. At this age play is still considered the most effective learning environment because executive function skills, such as impulse control and the ability to self-organize to accomplish goals are developed primarily between 3 and 5 years of age. Our Pre-K teachers are also introducing more traditionally recognizable academic information and experiences which prepare children to thrive in Kindergarten and beyond, including more emphasis on Habits of Mind which also support Executive Function Skills.
